Meet the TIA Advisory Board

Triathlon Industry Alliance (TIA) Advisory Board brings together experienced leaders from across the triathlon industry — all of whom are TIA members — to help guide the strategic direction of the Alliance and support meaningful, member-led progress.

Representing a broad cross-section of the industry, the Advisory Board works closely with the CEO, TIA & RIA Team, dedicated working groups and NGB. Together they help turn insight into action, ensuring TIA continues to evolve in line with the needs, opportunities and challenges of the sector — now and into the future.

The board plays an important role in challenging thinking, sharing expertise, and connecting the wider triathlon ecosystem so that the Alliance remains relevant, collaborative and forward-looking.

Purpose

The purpose of the TIA Advisory Board is to support the strategic development and growth of the Triathlon Industry Alliance across the UK and Ireland — and globally where appropriate — through industry expertise, strong networks, and active engagement.

Guiding the Future of the Industry

The work of TIA is aligned with the core pillars that underpin the wider alliance model developed by Running Industry Alliance (RIA):

  • Membership – growing and supporting a connected industry community

  • Events – creating spaces for collaboration, learning and networking

  • Awards – recognising excellence across the sector

  • Data – improving industry insight and shared knowledge

TIA Advisory Board is supported by the CEO of Running Industry Alliance, alongside the TIA and RIA Advisory Board Chair, ensuring alignment with the wider alliance strategy while keeping the specific needs of the triathlon industry front and centre.

Together, this collective leadership helps ensure TIA remains a trusted platform for collaboration, innovation and industry progress.
